HOW TO MAINTAIN VENDORS


Firstly go to the maintain option a window is appear.





After selecting the maintain we select the option vendors.






We select the vendors that shows the maintain vendor window. In this window include the vendor id , vendor name. First window shows the general. In general we have the contact, account #, address, country, vendor type, telephone no, fax, email and website.





PURCHASE DEFAULT

After selecting the general we click the option of PURCHASE DEFAULT. In purchase default  following information purchase rep, purchase account, tax id, ship via, term that explain the discount and credit period.








CUSTOM FIELD

After explaining the purchase default we select the custom field. In custom field we have the office manager, account rep and special note. We select the custom field for the purpose of entering the custom field information.






HISTORY

Last option is the history. In history we explain the vendor since means that the vendor’s period of staying here and last invoice date, last invoice amount, last payment amount and last payment date whose date you pay the amount to vendor.

how to maintain a chart of account



  
HOW TO MAKE CHART OF ACOUNT
First of all we select the Peachtree option and go to an existing company.



After selecting an existing company the window is appear that shows the following,







 In open an existing company we click the browser and the next window is appear.

After this window is appear.

After this window we press the ok button and select the window.







Then we go the maintain option and select the charts of account

.






After selecting the charts of account the window is appear that is maintain chart of account. In this 
window we have the account id ,description and account type.





In this window we write the account id then click the tab button and then write the description again click the tab button and save it. For save it press “alt s” and save it.





How to maintain the beginning balance.
After save the charts of account we go the  beginning  balance. .Following window is appear

how to maintain customers/prospectus


How to maintain customer/prospects
After set up new company and charts of account now we write how we maintain customer/prospectus. Maintain customer/prospects we use to store information about the different people and company whom you sells the goods.
Maintain customer/prospects include the different information,
First we open the Peach tree option and select the maintain.




Then select the custom prospectus. In custom prospectus we have the different option like general, sales defaults payment defaults, custom field and history.
That is given below,


We go to the go to the general option. 
Enter the customer id like 222 and name in the tab.






In general have different information like contact , address, sales tax, Emails, website, telephone , fax , bill to address and beginning balance. We select the general tab in the customer/prospects window.




Then go to the sales defaults.
In sales defaults have following information .we enter the general ledger sales account that is compulsory and then open purchase order # that contain the number order .Next resale # and pricing level etc.




Then go to the payment defaults. In payment defaults have cardholder’s name, address, country, credit card number, expiration date, cash account, payment method. Choose the credit card that you want to use, and enter the name as it appears on the credit card in the cardholder’s name.






Then go to the custom field .In custom field  we enter the  custom field information that we selected customer and maintain record .following information that we give in custom fields that is contact, reference, mailing list and multiple sites etc.



Then we have the option of history. In history we have different information that is compulsory to provide. Last invoice date is the date of the last invoice  that you sent to the customer. Last invoice amount is the amount of last invoice. Then payment amount and payment date is entered.
